Once the Emory theme is customized for your organization, the site colors are part of the design and are not editable through the CMS site manager. Emory is a 3 color theme requiring 2 strong/dark colors and 1 lighter accent color. If you only have 2 colors in your palette, the default site grays will be used (light or dark depending on your color palette).
Our design team will color customize your design based on WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) to ensure text and content can be read by people with visual disabilities and by screen reading software.
If you have a logo that uses your branding colors, we strongly recommend that you allow us to brand the site based on your logo colors. Choose the first option below - "Use my logo for site colors/branding."
Emory has two options for the header logo. Option 1 is a white logo with a color background (as seen on demo site). Option 2 is a color logo with a white background. A color logo will automatically be used in the footer.
If you select option 1, we will need both a white and full color version of your logo. If you do not have white, we will attempt to create one. If a white version cannot easily be created, we will typeset your organization name in the header. Logo files must be high resolution PNG, EPS AI or JPG files. Transparent PNG, EPS or AI files are preferred. Provide logos through your Basecamp project.
Emory has a maximum of 7 main navigation categories. Please enter your main navigation titles in the box below separated by commas.
In addition to the main navigation, Emory features a utility menu. The title for this menu can be 1-4 words with a maximum of 50 characters/spaces. Examples include: Family Links, My Links, Members, Staff, Quick Links, Logins. Please provide your utility menu title below.
The links in the dropdown will use the Links List tool and will be editable by you. There is the ability to add a maximum of 4 links with up to 25 characters each. Placeholder text will be used in the design proofs.
If you would like a search box that searches your site, you'll need to set up a Google account and Google Custom Search for your organization's domain name.
The slideshow images feature a title, headline, caption and read more link. The position of the text as well as the style is not client editable. The title ("Welcome!" text on demo) is not client editable. The headline and caption text is editable with a maximum of 32 characters in the headline and 89 characters in the caption. The images for your slideshow are editable through the CMS site manager.
The homepage slideshow can have up to 8 active slides at a time to ensure quick load time. We recommend keeping the number of active slides to 5 or less.
You also have the ability to use a video in place of your slideshow tool. The video does not include a headline or text.
Other content section 1 title recommendations:
"Welcome to Our School"
"Welcome to (School Name)"
